InsightVector Consulting is an Austin-based operational consulting firm that helps project-based service businesses regain control of their numbers. We work with owner-led firms in engineering, technical services, specialty contracting, and professional services that sell projects, deliver complex work, and depend on predictable cash flow to scale.
We believe project-based businesses deserve the same financial clarity and operational discipline as product companies.

Our Story

InsightVector was founded in Austin, Texas by operators who have run engineering and consulting firms themselves. Before advising others, we lived the same problems our clients face today: deals closing smoothly, work being delivered on time, yet invoices lagging behind reality. Cash flow was inconsistent. Forecasts couldn’t be trusted. Leadership meetings revolved around explanations instead of decisions.

The issue was never a lack of demand or expertise. It was a lack of systems connecting sales, delivery, and billing.

We built internal processes that created visibility across the full sales-to-cash lifecycle—what was sold, what was delivered, what had been invoiced, and what was stuck. Those systems restored control and predictability in our own firms. Eventually, other owners asked us to help them do the same.

That work became InsightVector.

Today, we install a structured, 30-day sales-to-cash control system for select project-based service firms. We do not sell software. We implement operational discipline so owners can trust their numbers, protect margins, and scale with confidence.
